A Cleaner World recently announced two key promotions within its leadership team, continuing the company’s commitment to operational excellence and innovation in the drycleaning industry.
Brian Harrell has been promoted to president. A 28-year veteran of the company, Brian has steadily climbed the ranks since joining in 1996. He brings a wealth of experience, having previously held roles as store manager and district manager of Shores Fine Dry Cleaning and vice president of A Cleaner World. Brian earned a B.S. from Wake Forest University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In addition to his leadership within A Cleaner World, Brian is a Certified Garment Care Professional with the Drycleaning and Laundry Institute (DLI) and serves as vice president of government affairs for the North Carolina Association of Launderers and Cleaners (NCALC).
Jennifer S. Merritt has been promoted to chief financial officer. Jennifer joined A Cleaner World in 2021 as corporate controller and has played a pivotal role in overseeing the company’s financial operations. Jennifer earned her B.S. from Wingate University and her MBA from High Point University. Before joining A Cleaner World, she served as controller for Trim USA, Inc. and Bill Plemmons RV World, where she developed extensive financial management experience.
